Planning/Organizing Tool

Kiddom is a combination planning system and content library. A free teacher account lets you set up unlimited classes and students. You can add assignments from the library of online content from sites such as Khan Academy, TedEd, cK-12 and more. You can also add assignments from other resources or curriculum. Standards (from an extensive provided list, or your own custom-made) can be attached to assignments for tracking progress. A flexible grading system includes an easy rubric tool. This could be an extremely useful tool for both planning and assessing your child's learning.

FunCation Academy

This site is a sort of online homeschool co-op with a very reasonable monthly subscription fee. You get access to lots of educational websites and an online planning tool, as well as some live online classes (with extra fees, but also very affordable.) They also offer some assessment tools.

Thinking Tree

"Fun-Schooling" books published by a homeschooling mom. They're a combination of journalling, notebooking and activity ideas. They cover a wide range of ages and subject matter. There are books to inspire parents, too.

Design Your Homeschool

This is a very useful site written by a homeschooling mom from Australia. She takes you through a process of exploring goals, curriculum, and methods to help you find a way of homeschooling that works for you. She also has two different printable planner systems for sale.

Home Learning Institute

This company offers several affordable options for online curriculum. You can purchase e-textbooks for core subjects in individual grade levels. (These appear a bit dry, but would be a good "spine" to start with.) They also offer two structured online curriculum systems that appear to be flexible and allow a fair amount of control by the parent. All of these options include subscriptions to the Brittanica School Online reference tool and a discount for an online homeschool planning system.
