Online writing instruction, including reading and vocabulary elements. You can choose from two levels of membership (one includes teacher grading, the other provides rubrics for parent use.) Or you can purchase 6-week live classes. The price is a bit high, but membership is billed monthly, so trying it out wouldn't be too much of an investment.

Verbling

This company provides one-on-one online tutoring in many languages. You choose from a list of tutors with different hourly rates and availability and schedule sessions through their platform. The hourly rates vary quite a bit, but probably average around $20-25. The program is designed for adult learners, but could certainly be used by younger students with supervision.

Professor Carol is a former college music professor, now providing online courses in music history and appreciation. You can purchase a membership to her website and get access to all courses, or buy some of them individually. There is an associate membership option to try out the materials for free. You can buy packages of lessons on musical eras or composers, including links for listening and researching and notebooking pages for recording what you've learned. Classes include SAT, CLEP and AP test prep, along with several other subjects. Debra also publishes several printed planning tools. *A note about religious content: I have never used these materials, so cannot say what sort of religious perspective they contain.
